Arizona's 19th legislative district is one of 30 in the state, consisting of all ofGreenlee County and sections ofCochise County,Graham County,Pima County, andSanta Cruz County. As of 2023, there are 96 precincts in the district,[1] with a total registered voter population of 146,048.[2] The district has an overall population of 230,476.[3]

Following the2020 United States redistricting cycle, theArizona Independent Redistricting Commission (AIRC) redrew legislative district boundaries in Arizona. According to the AIRC, the district is outside of competitive range and considered leaning Republican.[4]

The district is represented in the56th Arizona State Legislature, which convenes from January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2024, byDavid Gowan (R-Sierra Vista) in theArizona Senate and byGail Griffin (R-Sierra Vista) andLupe Diaz (R-Benson) in theArizona House of Representatives.[5][6]
