Arik Braun (born 8 February 1988)[1] is a Germanchessgrandmaster and the world's firstchessboxer of Grandmaster strength.[2]

He won theWorld Under-18 Chess Championship in 2006[3] and theGerman Chess Championship in 2009.[4] Braun was the bronze medalist at theWorld Junior Chess Championship of 2008, held inGaziantep.[5]
