Ardon Jashari (born 30 July 2002) is a Swiss professionalfootballer who plays as adefensive midfielder forSerie A clubAC Milan and theSwitzerland national team.
Jashari made his professional debut withLuzern in a 2–1Swiss Super League victory againstZürich on 31 July 2020.[3]
In April 2024, it was announced that Jashari would joinBelgian Pro League clubClub Brugge in the summer, having agreed a four-year contract.[4] The transfer fee was reported as €6 million, a club record for FC Luzern.[4]
Jashari had a strong first season in midfield for Club Brugge as they won theBelgian Cup,[5] finished second in the Belgian Pro League behindUnion Saint-Gilloise,[6] and qualified for the knockout stages of the2024–25 UEFA Champions League, losing toAston Villa in the first knockout round.[7]
Jashari was rewarded for his efforts by being voted both Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year at thePro League Awards.[8][9]
On 6 August 2025, Jashari joined ItalianSerie A clubAC Milan on a five-year-deal.[10]
On 27 September 2022, Jashari debuted for theSwitzerland national team in aNations League match against theCzech Republic, replacingRemo Freuler in extra-time.[11]
Born in Cham, Switzerland, Jashari is ofethnic Albanian descent from Kumanovo, North Macedonia.[12]
