Town of ancient Cappadocia

Ardistama, also known asArissama, was a town ofancient Cappadocia, inhabited byHittites inHellenistic,Roman, andByzantine times.[1] It was discovered in 1904 by Thomas Callander.[2] Its name may have been derived from Angdisis or Angdistis.[2]

Its site is located nearKale Tepe,Asiatic Turkey.[1][3]
