Archdeacon of Northampton

TheArchdeacon of Northampton is a seniorecclesiastical officer within theDiocese of Peterborough. As such she or he is responsible for the disciplinary supervision of the clergy[1] within its sixrural deaneries:Brackley,Brixworth,Daventry,Greater Northampton,Towcester andWellingborough.[2] The incumbent isRichard Ormston, who took up his position in February 2014.[3]

This is a list ofarchdeacons of Northampton, historically a post in theDiocese of Lincoln, and then in theDiocese of Peterborough from that diocese's creation on 4 September 1541.
