Arantxa Isabel Álvarez Garri (born 17 November 1991) is aSwedish television presenter and singer. She grew up inNorrköping and has lived inMalmö since 2014.[1]
Alvarez participated inIdol 2013 broadcast onTV4 and made it to the Top 20.[2][3] She was then eliminated during the Semi Final qualifying round.[2] During the summer of 2014 she made her debut as a television presenter for theSveriges Radio show Morgonpasset.[4] And in the aid showMusikhjälpen broadcast both onSveriges Television and Sveriges Radio she was that years "public ambassador".[1]
In the summer of 2015 she was again presenter of Morgonpasset on Sveriges Radio P3. During late 2015 she presented Idol Extra which was broadcast on TV4, and presented the show along with singerErik Segerstedt.[5] In the summer of 2016 she presented her third summer of Morgonpasset, this time along withFarah Abadi,Victor Linnér,Jonatan Unge andSimon Rosenqvist.[6] In 2016, she also presented the children's showMorgonshowen onBarnkanalen.[7] She was also a reviewer of comical videos for the Swedish version of Ridiculousness which premiered onMTV in August 2016.[8][9]
In 2021, she became a co-presenter ofBig Brother which is broadcast onSjuan.[10]
In 2023, Alvarez was a guest celebrity judge in the episodeSnatch Game - Sverige Season 1 of the Swedish language reality television seriesDrag Race Sverige broadcast onSVT1 andSVT Play.[11]
In January 2025, it was announced that Alvarez would be participating in that year's edition ofLet's Dance.[12]
