TheArakwal are anAboriginal Australian people of the state ofNew South Wales.

Country

InNorman Tindale 's estimation the Arakwal had about 1,800 square kilometres (700 sq mi) of territory, stretching fromBallina and the north side of theRichmond River toCape Byron. Their inland extension ran as far asLismore,Casino andCoraki. Their boundaries at Ballina joined those of the Widjehordes of theBadjelang.[1]
