Arakoon is an eastern suburb of the town ofSouth West Rocks inKempsey Shire,New South Wales, Australia. At the2016 census, Arakoon had a population of 420 people.[3]
Arakoon was the originalsettlement of the town ofSouth West Rocks. The settlement was later moved to the present location, where better land conditions forbuilding were available.
The area today is home to a small number of houses, acafé, acaravan park and theTrial Bay Gaol.
