Apollonia (Ancient Greek:Ἀπολλωνία) was a town ofancient Mysia,Anatolia, situated on an eminence east ofPergamum, on the way toSardis.[1] It seems to have been near the borders of Mysia andLydia.
The site of Apollonia is located between the modern Turkish towns of Hamidiye and Dualar.[2][3] The larger town of Soma is just to the East.
