Apesantius (Ancient Greek:Ἀπεσάντιος) was anepithet andtoponymic surname of the godZeus fromGreek mythology, under which he had a temple on Mount Apesas (modernMount Phoukas) nearNemea, wherePerseus was said to have first offered sacrifices to him.[1][2]
