TheApache Group is aMesoproterozoic group of geologic formations in the southwesternUnited States.

The Apache Group—or some underlyingVishnu Basement Rocks (Ruin Granite)—are prominently found in all of theSierra Ancha range, the range being separated by faults from its neighboringMazatzal Mountains west, and theSalt River to the south. The Apache Group extends to regions east of the Sierra Ancha, and also regionally toGlobe just south-southeast, and the neighboringDripping Spring Mountains, again just south of the Globe region.
