Antonina Yefremova (born 19 July 1981) is aUkrainian sprinter who specializes in the400 metres. Yefremova received a two-year ban in 2012 for usingtestosterone at the2011 World Athletics Championships.[1]

She won the gold medal at the2001 European U23 Championships,[2] finished sixth at the2002 European Championships and fourth at the2008 World Indoor Championships. She reached the semi-final at the2000 World Junior Championships, the2003 World Championships and the2004 Olympic Games, and competed at the2003 World Indoor Championships, the2005 World Championships, the2008 Olympic Games and the2010 World Indoor Championships without progressing from the first round.[3]

In the4 x 400 metres relay she finished fifth at the2002 World Cup,[4] fifth at the2003 World Indoor Championships,[5] fourth at the2005 European Indoor Championships,[6] fifth at the2005 World Championships,[7] won a bronze medal at the2005 Summer Universiade,[8] and won a gold medal at the2007 Summer Universiade.[citation needed] She also competed at the2003 World Championships,[9] the2004 Olympic Games,[10] the2007 World Championships,[11] and the2009 World Championships.[12]

Her personal best times are 50.70 seconds in the 400 metres, achieved in June 2002 inAnnecy, and 24.35 in the 200 metres (indoor), achieved in February 2005 inSumy.[3]

In 2011, she competed forFenerbahçe Athletics inTurkey.[13] She failed a random drug test in June 2012 and was banned for two years.[14]
