Anton Kade (born 17 January 2004) is a German professional footballer who plays as awinger forBundesliga clubFC Augsburg.
Having already entered the professional squad in early 2022,[2] Anton Kade made his professional debut forHertha BSC on 20 February 2022, replacingIshak Belfodil in the 76th minute of aBundesliga game againstRB Leipzig.[3]
On 15 June 2022,Swiss Super League clubBasel announced the signing of Kade on a four-year contract.[4] He joined Basel's first team for their2022–23 season under head coachAlexander Frei and made his debut in theSwiss Cup match on 21 August 2022 as Basel won 5–0 against local amateur club FC Allschwil.[5] Kade played his domestic league debut for the club in the away game in theStade de Genève on 16 October as Basel played a goalless draw withServette.[6] He scored his first goal for his new club on 3 November in the away game in theVazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium inYerevan as Basel won 2–1 in the group stage of the2022–23 UEFA Europa Conference League to qualify for theknockout phase.[7]
On 25 August 2025, Kade signed a four-year contract withFC Augsburg.[8]
Anton Kade's older brotherJulius is also a professional footballer, playing withDynamo Dresden in 2022.[2]
