Anthony Davis (born May 21, 1982) is an American former professionalfootball player who was arunning back in theCanadian Football League (CFL). Davis was born inPlainfield, New Jersey and playedcollege football for four years with theWisconsin Badgers. He was selected in the2005 NFL draft by theIndianapolis Colts.[1]
Davis, nicknamed the A-train, played two seasons with theHamilton Tiger-Cats, where he carried the ball 86 times for 457 yards and one touchdown. In December 2007, he was traded to theToronto Argonauts in exchange for receiverFrank Murphy and in April, 2008, the Argos released him.[2][3]
He currently serves as Director of Inter-Cultural Programs at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa.[4]
