Anselmo Valencia Tori Amphitheater (commonlyAVA Amphitheater ) is the firstamphitheater concert facility, inTucson, Arizona , with a capacity of about 4,500-5,000. It officially opened on October 14, 2001, as part of the new Casino Del Sol, located on, and belonging to, the ArizonaPascua Yaqui Tribe .[ 1] [ 2] It was renovated in 2018.[ 3]
It is named afterAnselmo Valencia Tori , aWorld War II veteran and formerchairman of the Pascua Yaqui Association.
