Annea Clivana

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

InclassicalCeltic polytheism,Annea Clivana was the name given to agoddess or female spirit worshipped inCanale inVeneto in the territory of theCenomani Celts inItaly.[1] She was identified with theRoman goddessJuno[2] and was portrayed as being in the company of agenius loci.[1] Because of thephilologicalcorrespondence between her name and that ofÁine, it is tempting to see thetheonymsÁine and Annea ascognates.
