Anita Perez Ferguson, born in 1949 inLos Angeles, California, is a speaker, author and international consultant.[3]
She has a BA in Communications fromWestmont College (1971), an MA in Counseling Psychology from theUniversity of Santa Clara, and an MA in Management from theUniversity of Redlands. Also, a PhD in Human and Organizational Systems from Fielding University (2010).
In 1990, Ms. Perez Ferguson was theDemocratic candidate for the US House of Representatives inCalifornia's 19th congressional district. In 1992, she was theDemocratic candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives inCalifornia's 23rd congressional district.
Perez Ferguson has been a Lecturer for theWoodrow Wilson Foundation atPrinceton, a contributor toNational Public Radio. She is a past president of theNational Women's Political Caucus.[4]
Under PresidentBill Clinton, she served as the White House Liaison to theUS Department of Transportation.[4] Clinton also appointed her to serve as Chair of theInter-American Foundation.[5]
She has also been a television panelist featured on shows likeTo the Contrary.Hispanic Business magazine named her to its list, "The 100 Most Influential Hispanics in the United States."
