Anis Hadj Moussa (born 11 February 2002) is a professionalfootballer who plays as aforward forEredivisie clubFeyenoord. Born in France, he representsAlgeria at international level.

Club career

Born inParis, Anis Hadj Moussa first played forUS Torcy and FC Montfermeil, before joining theRC Lens academy in 2018.[1][2]

He first played with Lens' reserve inNational 2,[3] before signing his first senior contract in Belgium withOlympic Charleroi in the summer of 2022.[4][5] There he soon became a standout in theNationale 1.[3][6]

In June 2023, Hadj Moussa switched toPatro Eisden Maasmechelen, which had just achieved promotion toChallenger Pro League the previous season.[3][6][7]

In February 2024, he was loaned toVitesse Arnhem in theEredivisie, with a buyout clause.[3][8] Despite joining a struggling side,[3] he soon managed to stand out with theArnhem club.[9][10]

In April 2024, Dutch clubFeyenoord announced that Moussa would join them for the 2024–25 season on a five-year contract.[11] With the move, Moussa earned his previous club Patro Eisden a record transfer fee.[12] On 6 November 2024, he scored his firstUEFA Champions League goal in a 1-3 home loss againstRed Bull Salzburg.[13]

International career

Anis Hadj Moussa is a youth international for Algeria, having played with theunder-20[1][3] andunder-23.[5][10]

Hadj Moussa made his debut for the seniorAlgeria national team on 22 March 2024 in a friendly against Bolivia.[14]
