Aniceto is a 2008Argentine musical drama film directed byLeonardo Favio and starringHernán Piquín.^[1] The film is a remake ofEl romance del Aniceto y la Francisca, a 1967 drama film also directed by Favio. Both films are based on theshort storyEl cenizo ("The Pigweed") byZuhair Jury.

It was Favio's last film. It won severalSilver Condor Awards, including Best Film and Best Director.
