Angola became a member of the African Handball Confederation in 1980.

Summer Olympics

[edit]

Angola participated in six editions of the olympic games since 1996, namely in1996,2000,2004,2008,2012 and2016, having ranked 7th in 1996.

World Championship

[edit]

Angola participated in 14 editions of theworld cup since 1990, namely in1990,1993,1995,1997,1999,2001,2003,2005,2007,2009,2011,2013,2015 and2017. It has notably ranked 7th in2007 and 8th in2011.
