"Angels Like You" is a song by American singerMiley Cyrus, from her seventh studio albumPlastic Hearts, released on November 27, 2020, throughRCA Records. The song was written by Cyrus,Ali Tamposi, andRyan Tedder with the song's producersLouis Bell andAndrew Watt. It was sent to radio as the third and final single from the album in Australia on March 12, 2021,[3] it was also Cyrus' last single with RCA, whom she ended her contract with after 8 years. She subsequently signed withColumbia.[4]
The song received positive reviews from critics.[5] Commercially, the song reached number one in the Philippines and the top 10 in Indonesia and Malaysia. A music video for "Angels Like You" was released on March 8, 2021. It contains footage taken from Cyrus'Super Bowl pre-game performance on February 7, 2021.

An official music video for "Angels like You" was released on March 8, 2021.[14] The video was recorded on February 7, 2021, at Cyrus' performance at theSuper Bowl LV pre-game show. At the end of the video, Cyrus endorsed theCOVID-19 vaccine.[15]
Despite minimal support from Cyrus's former label, the track has remained popular since its release, initially gaining moderate traction onSpotify thanks to the singer'sAttention tour. Between January and July 2023, the song experienced a major resurgence, primarily onTikTok, which led it to spend many weeks in the top 20 on Global Spotify. As a result, 'Angels Like You' has become one of Cyrus's biggest streaming hits.
In November 2024, Cyrus appeared on an episode of Spotify'sBillions Club: The Series, where she discussed the success of 'Angels Like You.' She shared, "Angels Like You is really all about the fans. It wasn't released as a single, it didn't have an official video. It was actually my first choice for the (lead) single fromPlastic Hearts, but it wasn't selected at the time, and the fans made it happen."[16]
It later charted for weeks and reached new peaks in official charts such as theBillboard Global 200 (peaking at #73) and Billboard Global Excluding US (peaking at #43), as well as some other major markets such as Billboard Canada and Asian countries such as the Philippines, where it went #1, making Miley Cyrus the first ever female artist to reach the #1 spot on the Philippines’ official chart multiple times (twice), later joined byBlackpink andTaylor Swift.
