Ange Samuel Kouamé (born 22 December 1996), also known asAn Yi-en (Chinese:安以恩), is a professionalfootballer who plays as aforward forChina League One clubLiaoning Tieren. Born in theIvory Coast, he represents theChinese Taipei national football team.[1]
Kouamé started playing football at a young age and moved to the Philippines in 2016 before moving to Taiwan.[2]
Kouamé started his football career withTatung in 2018. He won the2018 and the2019 league titles. Kouamé was also the top scorer in the2020 league with twenty goals.[3]
In 2021, Kouamé moved to league champions,Tainan City. In his first season, he helped the club to retained the league title winning the2021 league title. In the following season, Kouamé won the Chinese Taipei Footballer of the Year as he won another league title in the2022 season.
Kouamé became the second naturalized player to represent Chinese Taipei internationally.[4] On 8 September 2023, he made his international debut againstPhilippines and in the next match on 12 September 2023, Kouamé scored his debut goal for Chinese Taipei againstSingapore.
During the first round of the2026 FIFA World Cup qualification in both the first and second leg, he provided 3 assists and scoring once againstTimor-Leste which saw Chinese Taipei advance to thesecond round.
