Aneury Rodríguez (born December 13, 1987) is aDominican former professionalbaseballpitcher. He has played inMajor League Baseball (MLB) for theHouston Astros and inKorea Baseball Organization (KBO) for theSamsung Lions.
Rodríguez signed with theAmerican teamColorado Rockies as an international free agent in 2005. He was traded to theTampa Bay Rays forJason Hammel in 2009.[1]
Following the 2010 season, Rodríguez was selected in theRule 5 draft by theHouston Astros.[2] He pitched for the Astros in 2011 and 2012. After the 2012 season, Rodríguez signed with theSamsung Lions of theKorea Baseball Organization. He pitched in 11 games for Samsung in 2013 before being released.[3][4]
