Andrea Palazzi (born 24 February 1996) is an Italian professionalfootballer who plays as amidfielder forSerie C Group A clubPro Patria.[2] He began his youth career atInter Milan aged 10, and was rated by Inter fans as a promisingholding midfielder.[3]

Palazzi made his professional debut on 6 November 2014, replacingZdravko Kuzmanović for the last 7 minutes of a 1–1 draw atAS Saint-Étienne in the group stages of theUEFA Europa League.[4]

Loan to Livorno

On 3 July 2015, Palazzi was signed byLivorno on a season-long loan.[5] On 16 August he made his debut forLivorno in the third round of theCoppa Italia in a 2–0 away defeat againstCarpi after extra time, he was replaced byGianmario Comi in the 73rd minute.[6] On 16 September, Palazzi made hisSerie B debut as a substitute replacingCristian Pasquato in the 82nd minute in a 3–1 home win overBrescia.[7] On 17 October, Palazzi played his first match as a starter in Serie B, he was replaced byMattia Aramu in the 46th minute of a 3–0 away defeat againstCrotone.[8] On 2 April 2016, he was handed a straightred card in aSerie B match againstVicenza.[9] Palazzi ended his loan at Livorno with 12 appearances and 1 assist, but he never played an entire 90 minute match.[10]

Loan to Pro Vercelli

On 7 July 2016, Palazzi was signed byPro Vercelli on a season-long loan with an option to buy.[11] On 7 August he made his debut forPro Vercelli in the second round ofCoppa Italia, in a 3–1 home win overReggina.[12] On 13 August, Palazzi played in the third round of the Coppa Italia in a 4–1 away defeat againstTorino.[13] On 27 August he made hisSerie B debut for Pro Vercelli in a 1–1 home draw againstAscoli, he was replaced by Daniele Altobelli in the 77th minute.[14] On 4 September he played his first full match for Pro Vercelli, a 1–1 away draw againstTrapani.[15] On 17 December Palazzi scored his first for Pro Vercelli in the 72nd minute of a 3–1 home win overSPAL.[16] On 12 March 2017 he was sent off for a second yellow card in the 70th minute of a 0–0 away draw againstNovara.[17] Palazzi ended his season-long loan atPro Vercelli with 32 appearances, 1 goal and 1 assist.[10]

Loan to Pescara

On 1 July 2017, Palazzi was signed by theSerie B sidePescara with a season-long loan.[18] On 27 August he made his debut forPescara inSerie B as a substitute, replacingMamadou Coulibaly in the 46th minute of a 5–1 home win overFoggia.[19] On 14 October he played his first match as a starter for Pescara, a 1–0 away win overParma, he was replaced byLuca Valzania in the 66th minute.[20] On 21 October, Palazzi played his first full match for Pescara, a 2–1 home win overAvellino.[21] Palazzi ended his loan to Pescara with only 9 appearances.[10]

On 7 July 2018 his loan was extended for another season.[22] On 5 August he played his first match of the season as a substitute replacingLedian Memushaj in the 99th minute of a match won 4–3 at penalties after a 2–2 home draw againstPordenone in the second round ofCoppa Italia.[23] One week later he played in the third round in a 1–0 away defeat againstChievoVerona.[24] On 27 October he played his first match in Serie B as a substitute replacingManuel Marras in the 63rd minute of a 1–0 home defeat againstCittadella.[25] In January 2019 his loan to Pescara was interrupted and Palazzi returned toInter with only 6 appearances, but only 1 as a starter.[10]

Loan to Monza

On 14 January 2019, Palazzi was loaned toSerie C clubMonza with an 18-month loan deal.[26] Five days later, on 19 January, he made his debut in Serie C as a substitute replacingFilippo Lora in the 64th minute and he scored his first goal for Monza and the winning goal in the 84th minute of a 1–0 home win overVirtus Verona.[27] Three days later he played his first entire match for Monza, a 0–0 away draw againstRenate.[28]

Loan to Palermo

[edit]

After being bought outright from Monza following their promotion to the Serie B, on 5 September 2020, Palazzi was sent on a one-year loan to newly promotedSerie C sidePalermo.[29]

Alessandria

Palazzi was sold toAlessandria on a permanent deal on 31 August 2021.[30]

Feralpisalò

[edit]

On 21 July 2022, Palazzi joinedFeralpisalò for a term of one year, with an option to extend for two more years.[31]

Pro Sesto

On 28 September 2023, Palazzi signed withPro Sesto.[32]
