Andrea Morricone (born 10 October 1964) is an Italian composer[1] and conductor,[2] known for his film scores. He is the third child, and second son, of late composer andAcademy Award winnerEnnio Morricone. He composed the film scores for the American filmsCapturing the Friedmans andLiberty Heights.[2] He collaborated with his father on the score forCinema Paradiso, for which they won aBAFTA Award forFor Best Original Film Music.[3] The Love Theme fromCinema Paradiso is a work by Andrea Morricone.[4] He has also composed music for many other Italian films, includingThe Inquiry andThe Entrepreneur.
