Andrea Cau

Italian paleontologist

Andrea Cau is anItalian vertebratepaleontologist. He specialises in the study ofdinosaur cladistics. Cau named theuniquedromaeosauridtheropodHalszkaraptor in 2017. He also reanalysed thetheropodBalaur, placing it as a basalavialan (primitive bird) rather than adromaeosaur.[1][2]
