Andrés Simón Gómez (born September 15, 1961) is a formersprinter fromCuba who won an Olympic bronze medal in4 × 100 metres relay in1992 Barcelona.[1][2] He also participated in the relay at the1996 Olympics in Atlanta.[1] He specialized in the60 meters and100 metres events. His personal best for the 100 m is 10.06, set inHavana 1987.[2] He won the gold medal in the 60 m competition at the1989 IAAF World Indoor Championships in Budapest.[3]
