Andrés Carrasco Carrillo (born 4 March 1978) is a Spanishfootball manager.

Career

Born in Sant Miquel d'Olèrdola,Olèrdola,Barcelona,Catalonia,[1] Carrasco worked for 11 years atFC Barcelona'sLa Masia, managing the under-9, under-12 and under-14 squads. In June 2011, he moved abroad and joined Georgia'sFC Dinamo Tbilisi as a director of the youth categories.

Carrasco returned to his home nation in 2012, taking overMálaga CF'sCadete A squad and leading the side to two accolades.[2] On 15 July 2013, he returned to Georgia after being appointed director of the youth setup atFC Saburtalo Tbilisi.[3]

On 24 November 2014, Carrasco was named assistant manager ofÁlex García (whom he worked with at Dinamo Tbilisi) atCE Sabadell FC.[4] He left the club the following February, as the manager resigned, and joinedWestern Sydney Wanderers FC on 14 July 2015.[5]

Carrasco re-signed for the Wanderers in January 2016,[6] remaining at the club until February 2017 after accepting an offer fromKardemir Karabükspor.[7] On 6 July 2018, he switched teams and countries again after being appointed manager ofFC Shakhtar Donetsk'sunder-19 squad.[8] He managed the latter side in the2019–20 UEFA Youth League, being knocked out in the group stage.

On 10 November 2020, one month after being named manager of the under-19 team,[9] Carrasco was named manager of theKuwait national team as well as the Kuwait U19 team.[10]

On 4 August 2023,Dinamo Tbilisi announced the appointment of Carrasco as Head Coach after Giorgi Tchiabrishvili had left the club.[11] On 7 June 2024 Carrasco left his role as Head Coach of Dinamo Tbilisi.[12]

On 11 June 2024[13] Carrasco signed a contract as a manager of the Ukrainian Premier League clubLNZ Cherkasy returning to Ukraine.
