Amnokgang Sports Club is aNorth Korean men'smulti-sports club.[3] Based inPyongyang, the club competes in theDPR Korea Premier Football League.
Affiliated with theMinistry of People's Security,[4] it was founded on 19 September 1947.[5]

The club is best known for its men's andwomen'sfootball teams. The men's football team presently plays in theDPR Korea Premier League, and in various domestic cup competitions. They won several competitions in the 1960s, and won national titles in2001,2006, and2008.[6]
Amnokgang's primary rivals areApril 25. April 25 belongs to theMinistry of People's Armed Forces, and the professional rivalry between theMilitary andPolice carries over onto the sports field.[citation needed]
Amnokgang's women's football team won thenational championship in 2004.[8]
In addition to football, the club has teams forice hockey,basketball,[9]volleyball,[10]handball,[11] andtable tennis.
