
Amit Rai is an Indianfilm director and writer. He won theGollapudi Srinivas Award in 2010 for directingRoad to Sangam. As an associate director he did 2009 Marathi filmTingya, which was critically acclaimed and won various National and International awards.[1]
After a long break from the industry, he wrote and directed the sequel toOMG – Oh My God! titledOMG 2 in 2023 which gained high critical and audience acclaim and became a box office success. He has received69th Filmfare Awards for the filmOMG 2 (best story) in 2024.[2][3]
