Ami Miura (三浦 亜美,Miura Ami, born March 20, 1997), better known by herring nameAmi Sohrei (壮麗 亜美,Sōrei Ami), is a Japaneseprofessional wrestler. She is signed toWorld Wonder Ring Stardom, where she is a member ofGod's Eye.

Sohrei is a former one-timeFuture of Stardom Champion and one-timeGoddesses of Stardom Champion.[3]

Professional wrestling career

Sohrei made herprofessional wrestling debut on August 14, 2020, where she fell short toNoki-A atAWG Act In Korakuen Hall, an event promoted byActwres girl'Z (AWG).[4] While with AWG, Sohrei took part in their Action Ring Girls show, where she performed asTokiwa in the Kaguya faction.[5] On December 18, 2021, Sohrei wrestled in her last match for AWG, where she defeatedMiyuki Takase.[6]

Independent circuit (2020–present)

Sohrei is also known for her work in theJapanese independent scene. She took part of the2021 edition of the Young Block Oh! Oh! division ofPro Wrestling Wave'sCatch the Wave tournament where she ended on the second place of the Block A with a total score of tying give points with the winnerTomoka Inaba and also againstMomo Kohgo and Shizuku Tsukata.[7] She once competed inIce Ribbon atNew Ice Ribbon #1152 In 176BOX on October 17, 2021, where she teamed up withAkane Fujita in a losing effort againstThekla andMisa Matsui.[8] On the third night ofSendai Girls' Pro Wrestling'sKeep Burning show on October 21, 2021, Sohrei teamed up withAyame Sasamura in a losing effort against Team 200kg (Chihiro Hashimoto andYuu).[9]

World Wonder Ring Stardom (2022–present)

Sohrei debuted inWorld Wonder Ring Stardom on the first night of theWorld Climax 2022 on March 26, 2022, where she was announced as the first member ofSyuri's newly created stableGod's Eye.[10] Sohrei wrestled her first match in the promotion on April 3, where she lost to Syuri in the first round of the2022 Cinderella Tournament.[11] AtFight in the Top on June 26, Sohrei, Syuri andMirai unsuccessfully challengedOedo Tai (Saki Kashima,Momo Watanabe andStarlight Kid) andDonna Del Mondo (Giulia,Maika andMai Sakurai) for theArtist of Stardom Championship.[12] Sohrei qualified for the2022 5 Star Grand Prix by winning a qualifier block league where she scored a total of eight points.[13] AtNew Blood 5 on October 9, Sohrei won theFuture of Stardom Championship by defeatingHanan.[14] During her reign, Sohrei successfully defended the Future of Stardom Championship against various contenders, among them were Mai Sakurai,[15]Lady C[16] and a former champion,Ruaka.[17]

On April 23, 2023, atAll Star Grand Queendom, Sohrei and Mirai teamed together under the tag team nameThe New Eras and won theGoddesses of Stardom Championship by defeating7Upp.[18] AtNew Blood 8 on May 12, Sohrei lost the Future of Stardom Championship toRina, ending her reign at 205 days.[19] AtSunshine 2023 on June 25, The New Eras lost the Goddesses of Stardom Championship toRose Gold, ending their reign at 63 days.[20]

AtNew Years Stars 2024 on January 3, 2024, Sohrei, Mirai and Syuri, together known asAbarenbo GE, participated in the2024 Triangle Derby. They defeatedBaribari Bombers in the finals to win the tournament and the Artist of Stardom Championship.[21]
