TheAmerica's Cup Building, also known locally asVeles e Vents, is located inValencia, Spain. The building was designed by the British architectDavid Chipperfield in collaboration with Spanish architect Fermín Vázquez[1] and inaugurated in 2006.
The design has won numerous architectural awards, including the 2006Emirates Glass LEAF Award and theRoyal Institute of British ArchitectsEuropean awards in 2007. It was also nominated for theStirling Prize in 2007.[2]
