TheAmarillo Globe Dream House is ahistoric house inAmarillo,Texas.
The building was added to theNational Register of Historic Places on December 8, 1997.[2] The house also became aRecorded Texas Historic Landmark in 2008.[3]
The house was constructed in 1925, a project jointly constructed by theAmarillo Globe-News newspaper and a local real estate company. The home features red brick, in theTudor revival style.[4] A local architect,Guy Carlander designed the home and it was used as a project to showcase the talents of local builder M.C. Hancock.[5]
