Amara Traoré (born 25 September 1965) is a Senegalese former professionalfootballer who is the head coach ofHoroya AC in theGuinée Championnat National.
He managed theSenegal national team andASC Linguère in Senegal.
Traoré played for several teams, includingSC Bastia,FC Gueugnon,FC Metz,[1] all in France.[2] He holds Senegalese and French nationalities.[3]
He also played for theSenegal national team and was a participant at the2002 FIFA World Cup.
Traoré was namedSenegal manager in December 2009,[4][5] and he was in charge of the national team for more than two years, until February 2012. In March 2013, he took the head coaching job with the Guinean sideAS Kaloum.[6]
