Amandeep Sodhi is a Canadian politician who was electedmember of Parliament for theriding ofBrampton Centre in the2025 Canadian federal election as a member of theLiberal Party.
Sodhi was born in 2001 in Toronto, Ontario. In 2023, she graduated with a bachelor's degree in political science from King’s University College at theUniversity of Western Ontario. Prior to entering politics, she worked as a legal assistant.[1][2]
In January 2025, Sodhi was acclaimed theLiberal candidate for theriding ofBrampton Centre.[1] She was elected later that year in the2025 federal election.[3] AlongsideFares Al Soud,Tatiana Auguste, andJake Sawatzky, Sodhi is one of the first four Canadianmembers of Parliament born in the 21st century.[4]
