Allu Ramalingaiah (1 October 1922 – 31 July 2004) was an Indiancharacter actor , comedian, and producer known for his works inTelugu cinema .[ 1] Padma Shri for his contribution to Indian cinema.[ 2] Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award - South , and theRaghupathi Venkaiah Award in 2001.[ 3] [ 4] [ 5] [ 6] [ 7]
Ramalingaiah was born on October 1, 1922, inPalakollu , Andhra Pradesh, India into a Telugu speaking family.[ 8]
