TheAlliance PSD+PC (Romanian:Alianța PSD+PC) was acentre-leftelectoral alliance inRomania between 2008 and 2009.
In continuation with the 2004National Union PSD+PUR alliance, the new alliance was founded in 2008 between theSocial Democratic Party (PSD) and theConservative Party (PC), formerlyHumanist Party of Romania (PUR) as a counterpart to thecentre-rightJustice and Truth Alliance (DA) between theNational Liberal Party (PNL) andDemocratic Party (PD).
It took part in the2008 general elections and in the2009 European Parliament election, with the alliance winning 11 seats, including oneConservatives' candidate:George Sabin Cutaş.[1]
In late 2010, the Alliance dissolved, asConservative Party (PC) joined theNational Liberal Party (PNL) to form theCentre Right Alliance (ACD).
