Allan Sealy (born 1951) is an Indian writer. His novelThe Everest Hotel: A Calendar was shortlisted for the 1998Booker Prize.[1]

Biography

Sealy was born inAllahabad, attendedLa Martiniere School in Lucknow, and then on toSt. Stephen's College, Delhi University.[2]

His first novelThe Trotter Nama was published in 1990 and tells the story of seven generations of an Anglo-Indian family.[3]
