TheAll Along Stakes is an AmericanThoroughbred horse race run annually in September atLaurel Park Racecourse inLaurel, Maryland. Open tofillies andmares, age three and older, it is raced onturf at a distance of1+1⁄16 miles. The race currently offers a purse of $150,000. In 2015, theMaryland Jockey Club agreed to move the Stakes race and run it at Laurel Park changing the name of a former race Lady Baltimore Stakes to the All Along Stakes.

The race is named for the great French racing mare,All Along. Owned byDaniel Wildenstein, she raced in Europe and North America. All Along was the 1983 Champion Older Mare in France and 1983American Horse of the Year who was inducted in theUnited States Racing Hall of Fame in 1990.

The All Along Stakes has been held at four different tracks all in the Mid-atlantic region of the United States, it was held atColonial Downs inNew Kent County, Virginia from 1998 to 2013 andLaurel Park Racecourse from 1985 to 1996. The race was also held at Delaware Park in 1997 andPimlico Race Course in 1990. The race was not held in 1986 or 1987. It was first graded in 1988 and it became a grade two race in 1990 and continued that way until 1997. Since 1998 the race has maintained its grade three status. The race was run at a distance of1+3⁄16 miles from 1998 to 2014 and1+3⁄16 miles in 1999 and 2000.

The All Along Stakes has served as a prep race toBreeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf a Grade 1 race held as part of the World Thoroughbred Championships. In 2010 race served as the perfect race to Shared Account who went on to win the 2010Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf a Grade 1 race held atChurchill Downs. In December 2010 Shared Account went on to be namedMaryland Horse-of-the-Year.
