Aliona Vadimovna Bolsova Zadoinova (Romanian:Aliona Bolșova;Russian:Алёна Вадимовна Большова,romanized: Alyona Vadimovna Bolshova; born 6 November 1997) is a Spanish-Moldovantennis player.

On theITF Junior Circuit, Bolsova had a combined career-high ranking of No. 4, and reached the quarterfinals of the2015 Australian Open.

Bolsova has career-highWTA rankings of 88 in singles and 54 in doubles. She has won five doubles titles on theWTA Challenger Tour along with nine singles and 15 doubles titles on theITF Circuit.^[1]

Playing forSpain, Bolsova has a win-loss record of 4–3 inBillie Jean King Cup competition (as of July 2025).

Bolsova moved from Moldova to Spain at a young age. Her father,Vadim Zadoinov, and her mother,Olga Bolșova, were both Olympic athletes, and so were her maternal grandparents, athletesViktor Bolshov andValentyna Maslovska.^[2]

She represented Moldova from 2012 to 2013, until she gained Spanish citizenship in 2013.

Bolsova played forOklahoma State University's tennis team as a freshman in the 2016–17 season inNCAA play. There, her record was 31–7 in singles and 25–7 in doubles.^[3] Her tenure included helping OSU's team reach the final of the 2017Big 12 Conference championship^[4] and the quarterfinals of the 2017 NCAA tournament.^[5]

In 2018, Bolsova played forFlorida Atlantic University, going undefeated in singles with a record of 19–0. In doubles, she went 15–3. Bolsova turned professional following theConference USA championship of 2018.^[6][1]

At the2019 French Open, she qualified for the main draw^[7] and reached the fourth round on her major debut in which she lost toAmanda Anisimova.^[8][9][10]

Partnering withRebeka Masarova, Bolsova won the doubles draw at the2022 Internacional de Valencia, defeatingAlexandra Panova andArantxa Rus in the final.^[11] She also won the doubles title at the2022 Țiriac Foundation Trophy, teaming withAndrea Gámiz to overcomeRéka Luca Jani andPanna Udvardy in the final.^[12]

Bolsova entered the main draw at the2023 French Open as a lucky loser and won her first-round match againstKristína Kučová,^[13] before losing toAnna Karolína Schmiedlová.^[14]

PartneringKatarzyna Kawa, she was runner-up in the doubles at the2024 Țiriac Foundation Trophy, losing toCarole Monnet andDarja Semeņistaja in the final.^[15]

Bolsova was also runner-up in the doubles at the2024 Bolivia Open, partnering withValeriya Strakhova, and losing the final toNuria Brancaccio andLeyre Romero Gormaz.^[16]
