Alfred Hedemann was an Australiantennis player. He won the doubles title alongsideErnie Parker at theAustralasian Championships, the futureAustralian Open, in1913. In the1921 Australasian championships, held at Perth, Hedemann beatKeith McDougall in the semi-finals before losing toRice Gemmell in the final.[3] Hedemann worked for theBank of Australasia. He moved to Tasmania to be manager of the Launceston branch in 1933 and retired in 1940.[4] Hedemann had been a fine cricketer and lacrosse player.[4]
