Aleksandre Rekhviashvili (Georgian:ალექსანდრე რეხვიაშვილი; born 6 August 1974) is aGeorgianfootball official and a formermidfielder. He works as a sporting director ofDinamo Tbilisi.
He played on thenational team and has been capped 21 times since his debut in 1999.
His club career started inDinamo Tbilisi in 1991. In 1997, he went to Latvian champion teamSkonto FC, where he gradually became one of the best defensive midfielders in the Latvian league, being voted the best league player at the end of 2000/01. In 2003, he was bought by Russian teamTorpedo-Metallurg, but after one season he returned to Latvia andFK Ventspils.
