Alexander Bartz (born 13 August 1984) is a German politician of theSocial Democratic Party (SPD) who has been serving as aMember of the German Bundestag fromLower Saxony since November 2022.[1]

Political career

Bartz was previously involved withYoung Socialists in the SPD.

In the2021 German federal election, Bartz stood in theCloppenburg-Vechta constituency and was 25th place on the SPD state list inLower Saxony. On 8 November 2022, he replacedFalko Mohrs, who took over a ministerial post in the Lower Saxony state government, in theBundestag.[2] In parliament, he has since been serving on the Committee on Economic Affairs.[3]
