Municipality in Catalonia, Spain
Alella (Catalan pronunciation:[əˈleʎə]) is a village in thecomarca ofMaresme inCatalonia, Spain. It is situated on the coast on the southwest side of thegraniteCatalan Coastal Range. The town is known for itswines,cava andperfumes, but is also a commuter town for nearbyBarcelona.
What used to be the old Roman Road (Via Augusta), unitingRome and Andalusia, is still today a narrow road running through the village.
According to Spanish census data,[1] this is the population of Alella in recent years.

Historical and interesting buildings
