Aleksandr Gvardis

Aleksandr Petrovich Gvardis (Russian:Александр Петрович Гвардис; born March 2, 1965) is a Russian former football referee. He became aFIFA international referee in 2003,[1] and his last known activity as a referee was in 2010.[2] He lives inKaliningrad and is a businessman. He has refereed games in the qualification rounds for theUEFA Champions League andUEFA Cup,[3] as well as2010 World Cup qualifiers.[4]

From 2011 to 2014 he was the executive director of theRussian First Division clubFC Baltika Kaliningrad.[5][6]

As of 2024, he is a refereeing inspector.[7]
