Aleksandar Knjazev (Macedonian:Александар Књазев) is a Macedonian professionalbasketball coach and former player.[1] He spent most of his playing career inKK Rabotnički Skopje, and as a team leader he helped its promotion to theFirst Yugoslav Basketball League in 1964.[2] He was the first coach of theMacedonia national basketball team after the country's independence in 1992.[3]
His sonGjorgji Knjazev was also a basketball player.
