Aldeia Galega da Merceana (Portuguese pronunciation:[alˈdɐjɐɣɐˈleɣɐðɐmɨɾsiˈɐnɐ]) is a formercivil parish, located in themunicipality ofAlenquer, in westernPortugal. In 2013, the parish merged into the new parishAldeia Galega da Merceana e Aldeia Gavinha.[1] It covers 19.69 km2 in area, with 2175 inhabitants as of 2001.[2]
