Alberto del Moral Saelices (born 20 July 2000) is a Spanishfootballer who plays as amidfielder forCórdoba CF, on loan fromReal Oviedo.
Born inVillacañas,Toledo,Castilla–La Mancha, del Moral began his career withAD Unión Adarve[1] before joining hometown sideCD Villacañas, where he featured with the first team in thePrimera Autonómica Preferente.[2] He joinedCórdoba CF's youth categories in 2017, aged 17, and made his senior debut withthe reserves on 14 April 2019, starting in a 3–0Tercera División home loss againstBetis Deportivo Balompié.
Del Moral started the2020–21 season with the first team inSegunda División B, and renewed his contract until 2023 on 1 February 2021, being definitely promoted to the main squad.[3] On 14 June, he moved toVillarreal CF'sB-team also in the third level, on a three-year deal.[4]
Del Moral was a regular starter for theYellow Submarine during the2021–22 campaign, as the side achieved promotion toSegunda División. He made his professional debut with the B-side on 14 August 2022, starting in a 2–0 away win overRacing de Santander.[5]
On 30 October 2022, del Moral made his first team – andLa Liga – debut, coming on as a latesubstitute forDani Parejo in a 1–0 away loss againstAthletic Bilbao.[2] He scored his first professional goal on 6 March of the following year, netting the B's winner in a 1–0 home success overDeportivo Alavés.
On 8 July 2024, del Moral signed a three-year contract withReal Oviedo in the second division.[6] The following 15 January, he returned to Córdoba on a six-month loan deal,[7] and the loan was renewed for a further year on 1 August.[8]
