Albarradas Sign Language, also known asDidxa ná’,[1] is an indigenousvillage sign language ofMexico.[2] It arose approximately 150 years ago in theZapotec villages ofSanta Catarina Albarradas,San Antonio Albarradas and possibly one other nearby town, due to a high incidence of congenital deafness.
