Albader Parad (died 21 February 2010) was a senior leader ofAbu Sayyaf, a group ofIslamic militants in thePhilippines with links toal-Qaeda. He led the kidnapping of threeInternational Committee of the Red Cross workers in 2009 and was implicated in the2000 Sipadan kidnappings, where 20 foreign tourists and aFilipino were abducted from the Sipadan Island Diving Resort inSandakan,Sabah inMalaysia.[2]

Parad was among Abu Sayyaf personalities wanted by theUnited States government, which had earmarked a1 million reward for his neutralization. ThePhilippine government had also placed a7 million bounty on his head.[3]

Armed Forces of the Philippines units composed ofPhilippine Marines clashed with Abu Sayyaf forces inJolo, killing Parad and five others on 21 February 2010.[4]
